If you must: If baby smells you he/she may resist the bottle but dad or others may be able to get a hungry baby to suck down some formula. Some substitute one feeding/day then 2, 3 etc as slowly or as fast as you both can do it. Some can do a radicle switch to total formula but i avoid that unless an urgent issue came up, the stress for both is tremendous. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Healthy living: There is no way to "tone" the actual breasts per se. Using a good unscented moisturizer, avoid the sun like the plague, also consider upper body weight training to tone the muscles under the breasts, as well as shoulders and arms. This will get your body in top physical condition. Congrats on breastfeeding two babies! What an accomplishment! ...Read more
Why can't i smoke when i'm breast-feeding? I see many mothers do it and their babies turn out to be fine, will i hurt my baby
Yes: Start with an increased risk of sudden infant death syndrome, add 2-3x incerase in bronchitis& ear infections & other respiratory issues. Add decreased growth & exposure to nicotine in the milk, short of this you will teach this child to smoke as an adult. I am not aware of any health benefits of smoking to you or your child. At least you are breast feeding, thats good. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Baby vomiting: If you baby is really vomiting as opposed to spit up all the time then you should bring him/her to the doctor. If the baby is vomiting so much that she/he isn't gaining weight then that is a problem. If there is spit up and the baby is gaining then that is likely a normal finding. All babies spit up, some more then others. If they are gaining and happy then it is usually fine. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Pretty unlikely: I can't say the risk is 0, but i've never seen a true breast cancer in children or babies. I've had a 17 yo with breast cancer - probably the youngest i've seen. Really children and babies don't have breast tissue until they hit puberty, so there should be minimal risk. Higher risk of other types of cancers (but not in the breast for that age range). ...Read more

Hi,breastfeeding my babies two times without stopping now when I stopped I have very small breast please tell me what I do to enlarge my breast safely?
Do you have twins?: If breast feeding the babies caused your breasts to become smaller, it probably means that the initial engorgement has been relieved. Since this is a physiologic process, your breasts should fill up naturally given the time, you should continue to eat and rest well and keep babies to suckle regularly. ...Read more
