Cervical radic.: Cervical radiculopathy can present like this. The numbness/tingling would go usually down the arm and into the thumb mostly for a c6 radiculopathy. A cervical epidural steroid injection can help tremendously for this. Surgery may be needed, but and esi and pt and oral anti-inflammatories should usually be tried first. Yeah...that'll smart: You may be suffering from the residua of POSTCONCUSSIVE syndrome (PCS). I don't know how you were at the type you got hit...for example, from what height did that hammer come down?
