Would veinwave shut down a spider vein and not cause surrounding spiders to appear like schelotherapy has the tendency to produce?

Would veinwave shut down a spider vein and not cause surrounding spiders to appear like schelotherapy has the tendency to produce?

Not necessarily: Veinwave and sclerotherapy can both be very effective when applied to the right circumstances. It is always advised to see a consultation from a board-certified vein specialist who can look at the veins & give expert opinion on what will give u the best results. Either treatment can results in other spiders to appear, but a little more likely with sclerotherapy "matting". Often resolves w/ time. ...Read more

I have spider veins at 19. Is it becuz im preggers?

Pregnancy + genetics: Many people first notice spider veins during pregnancy. Usually there is also a family history of veins. Normally spider veins improve to some degree over the first few months after delivery. Veins generally get worse with subsequent pregnancies. Graduated compression stockings may help minimize worsening of the spider veins as well as symptoms (such as leg heaviness, aching, etc). ...Read more

Spider veins in my cheeks help!

Help is available: The usual place for spider veins is the legs. However, they can occur on the face. They can be removed either by laser, electric pencil or injections of a medication through a very small needle directly into the vein. All of these methods work but the least painful are the injections. Be sure it is done by a phlebologist (vein specialist) certified by the abvlm. ...Read more

Reduction of spiders: Spider veins are a very common problem and there are many causes including hereditary, aging, pregnancies and even sun exposure. Cosmetic or medical: Sclerotherapy is the gold standard for leg veins. Spider veins how to eliminate or reduce?

Spider veins how to eliminate or reduce?

Can be treated: I disagree that a total vascular examination must be performed. In selected cases where there is suspicion of underying veins (significant symptoms, presence varicose veins or swelling, certain patterns of spider veins), then an ultrasound should be done. Otherwise, many patients with spider veins can simply be treated, generally with sclerotherapy. See a vein specialist/phlebologist. ...Read more

Usually not: Spider veins are typically an inherited condition that only affects the skin. They are most commonly a cosmetic issue only & are usually not an indication of an underlying vascular condition or health problem. If you have very aggressive or severe spider veins or have pain & swelling in the legs in association with the veins, then it is possible that you might have venous reflux. Seek vein MD. ...Read more

How can you non-surgically remove spider veins?

Sclerotherapy best: Surgery is not an option for spider veins. For leg spider veins the best option is sclerotherapy. Sclerotherapy involves the injection of medications, sclerosants, into the unwanted veins. It works by causing these veins to seal shut. The vein gradually disintegrates. Generally a few treatment sessions are needed. Other options include laser treatment and newer versions of cautery. ...Read more
