Spermatozoa Beach Water
Minimal time: Rabies virus does not live outside of a living host. It's transmitted by the infected saliva from a bite going into the next victim. I would not be too worried about getting it from swimming. Major carrier in states is often bats. If you fished one out of the pool it's unlikely to have left the virus behind. ...Read more

Can rabies spread through swimming pools if a rabid dog drinks water from the pool or swims in it?
Although possible: Naegleria fowleri infection is VERY rare.Get a more detailed answer ›
Probably not; unwise: Drinking just water for 5 days should result in losing several pounds temporarily but may not be enough to slim your face. I don't advise water fasting; toxins come out of our fat & without nutrients to support detox we can become ill,so doing veggies or a juice fast & taking a multivit. is advised. Intermittent near-fasts may be effective: http://tinyurl.com/phbtkqk & http://tinyurl.com/moow3oj ...Read more
Inhaled shower mist. Concerned about contracting Naegleria fowleri. My water is disinfected but so was the water in Louisiana.
No worries : Don't worry. If you had N. Fowleri in the water supply it would make CNN. If your water is coming from your municipality your 99.99% ok. If you have your own tank that might be a different story. Nothing can be done unless you develop symptoms anyways so don't worry too much. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

However, if you are engaging in sexual intercourse while in a swimming pool - don't expect the chlorine to prevent pregnancy. ...Read more
