Hello, I have a couple of PCOS related questions: would you recommend consumption of spearmint tea to reduce testosterone levels, and should ovarian cysts be examined regularly?

PCOS: Spearmint tea does not reduce testosterone levels to the degree necessary to assist with PCOS. It also does not have a clinical effect on thyroid hormone production. Unhelpful: Most "natural remedies" have never been clinically tested and are unhelpful for the conditions for which they are promoted. Mint tea will not help polycystic ovarites or hirsutism. We all are looking for a simple way to address our health problems but this is not the way. I have started drinking Bigelow plantation mint tea for my PCOS, am I on the right path? I'm also on metformin 500 3 times a day.
