Usually ok: Vegetable oils usually contains very little protein and thus most soy-allergic patients can tolerate the oil without problem. I doubt that you are truly allergic to 8 foods. Consult a B/C allergist to get this sort out before you end up with malnutrition and an impaired QOL. Just because a skin test or blood test is positive does not necessarily mean true allergy. ...Read more

Mgd, or meibomian gland dysfunction occurs when the glands get plugged or their secretions get too thick. This can affect the tear film and cause dry eye symptoms. Depends: I'd like to add that its important to differentiate between IgE-mediated food allergy and food intolerance. Soy is one of the more uncommon allergens in adults, whereas an intolerance may persist forever. But with food intolerance, you can have comfort in the fact that you will not suffer a life-threatening reaction if soy is ingested. ...Read more
