Absolutely: Alimentum and nutramigen are the first two that are readily available that come to mind. They are a bit more expensive, but very easy to digest and no soy anything. They don't taste as good, so if the baby scoffs at eating them, can put one drop of vanilla in the entire bottle to flavor. ...Read more

Does soy protein and soy products have a negative effect on men. Testostrone amd erectile dysfunction?
Controversial: Some studies suggest isoflavones or their metabolites in soy products lower testosterone; other studies report increase in testosterone; yet others say no change. Most of these studies were meta-analyses of older studies, some of which were flawed. Controlled studies are needed to determine actual effects of soy on testosterone. Is it true calcium & magnesium are both beneficial for pms symptoms and digestive issues like diareha/constipation?
Does soy milk help in alleviating hot flashes of premenopause? Any risks or side effects since it has plant estrogen in it? Weight gain?
Soy: Ingesting soy milk is probably fine. Soy is a weak phytoestrogen when ingested as a food product, though some drug companies use soy as a base for their estrogen product. Do some label reading though as some soy milks have additives that increase the calories. Adding soy beans to salads or eating tofu is also a good source of soy. ...Read more

Are foods cooked in soybean oil bad for men? I heard soy products are not good for men. Same for soybean oil? Thank you.
Too much is no good: Soy products have been dietary staples in asia for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Soy can contain compounds that affect thyroid function, and can be mildly estrogenic. Excessive intake, especially of processed soy products, e.g. Texturized soy protein, as opposed to natural sources like edamames, tofu, tempeh, could conceivably be a problem; mostly not. Soy oil doesn't have those chemicls. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

No: Please try to ignore synthetic argument when it comes to medications. Everything is synthetic unless you pick it off tree or pull it off ground or kill animal. Even clover, soy & yam have to be synthesized into hormone product. Check out my discussion at http://alvinblin.Com/2013/04/new-drug-big-pharma-goes-bio-identical.Html.
