New sores on temples. They feel numb and the sores themselves don't hurt but my temples hurt. They are raised and reddish maroonish in color. Melonoma?

There: There are several possibilities, but it sounds most likely like psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis which are red, scaly, flaky conditions of the scalp. Perhaps first try treatment with otc shampoos like nizoral, (ketoconazole) selsun blue or coal tar. If those don't work, consider prescription treatments with steroid shampoos/foams/oil treatments. Can you have: Someone check you for lice? That would be my first concern. After that, you have to think dermatitis of some kind (Huge work up will require doctor visit).
