Healing: It takes 6-9 months for pain from cesarean to go away. Eventually for nearly 99% of women the pain will go away completely withe time. Sometimes there is a trapped nerve that needs to be treated with steroid injections and pain medication injections, but that's fairly rare. Possibly : Scars can often be symptomatic even months after a procedure. If the scar is rubbed by clothing, it may become inflamed and need topical treatment. If the scar is becoming raised, it may have become a keloid and need injections to flatten again. Finally, in that area, yeast infections can occur over a scar and make the area red. More info: How long ago was surgery? What was it for ? Is the pain cyclical ? Scars don't usually hurt but hernias, endometriosis or infected sutures can. If not better in a couple weeks with ibuprofen see you surgeon. ...Read more

It is important to know however if pain becomes severe, the area gets red or extremely hard and tender to touch, fevers, since this could be a sign of infection.
