I was bit by something on the outside of my left ankle 2 months ago. It stung very bad for about 15 min then itched. Yes I did scratch. There was no noticeable sore than or now but the back of my foot is swollen on both sides. It's not red just swollen.
See a doctor: This may or may not be related to your bite, but it does need attention.See 1 more doctor answer
Plantar fasciitis: Most pain in heels are due to overuse and strain of the plantar fascia. Make sure that your heels on your shoes are not worn to the side. Do stretching before you get up and apply warm compresses to area.
My 6yrs old daughter is complaining about very sore feet. All I see though is small red blothes on the bottom and sides of her heels.?
Heel pain: Sounds like you may have bilateral heel spurs or plantar fasciitis. If the pain is more towards the heel it could be a spur. If it is more mid foot - the plantar faciitis is more likely. As we sleep the tissues that create the arch of our feet contract ever slightly - first thing in the morning when we get up - there is a "springing effect that will cause pain. Very sore left heel after a spinning session. Specially when I bend down and stretch or pull my foot upwards.?
Plantar Fasciitis: It sounds like acute plantar fasciitis. It can occur with exercise, especially if it's a new endeavor. It can also happen with repeated stress to the foot over a long period. The thick and fibrous plantar fascia gets stressed and strained, causing inflammation and pain. Rest, ice, massage, and anti-inflammatory medicine are good starts. See a doctor if it continues for more than a week.
I have a round bite on the heel of my foot. It has several small black dots in the middle. Itched at first now a little sore. What could it be?
Bump: Most of the time when there is a lesion with small dark spots it is a plantar wart. Many treatment options by seeing a podiatrist.See 1 more doctor answer
See a podiatrist: It can be due to a number of things- plantar fasciitis, achilles tendinitis, bursitis, stress fracture, arthritis, or tarsal tunnel. The right diagnosis is necessary to properly address this. Unti then try some runner's stretches, making sure shoes have good arch support and cushion, and are in good repair. Over-the -counter arch supports can help as well. See a podiatrist if these do not help.
Sore red heel: Unfortunately your description is vague. As docs we need to see things like there is a red spot, or the area at the back is red. This sounds like the entire heel is red and that opens the door to a ton of possible answers to your question. Your best recourse is to see your podiatrist who can actually see your problem and help you. Good luck.See 1 more doctor answer

Achilles?: Symptoms of achilles’ tendinitis include: weakness, pain near back of foot, lack of push-off strength, instability and difficulty to walk, swelling around the area, more apparent when compared to the other. You may also have a bursa (fluid sac) at the heel cord attachment or dorsal heel spur. Hope this helps.See 1 more doctor answer
Right heel pain: May be a heel spur/plantar fascitiis. The burning/tingling can be secondary to a neuroma, or tarsal tunnel problem. Can also be from a more proximal issue such as a problem with your back. Lastly, a systemic condition like diabetes could be a possible cause.See 1 more doctor answer
Random red spot on foot - I have two, one on heel and other on front side. They are sore and hurt. Causes?
I have planters fasciitis could the sole of the foot be sore 2 walk on not just the heel. Heel has improved but now the sole is painful?
Already having heel pain. Tape was stuck to my shoe and pulling foot down. New pain in sole area. Only took a few steps and removed tape. Still sore.
See podiatrist: I am not sure why the tape stuck to your shoe would cause new pains. If you are having heel pains and sole pains I suggest that you see a podiatrist. Plantar fasciitis is a common cause of heel pain. Ice, heel cups and stretches can help but seeing podiatrist may give you quicker relief.
