Had a colonoscopy, I have furrows in my esophagus, byopsy taken, now my throat is sore, and I am sick. Normal?
6 year old having endoscopy/colonoscopy will she be sore afterwards ? I heard your throat and rectum would be. How do I prepare her for this?

Could be normal: are you sure you had General Anesthesia? It's very unusual for colonoscopy. However you did have tube in your mouth breathing that's good cause sore throat. If you're a smoker sometimes it's normal to caugh as you wake up. In most patient this resolves in 2 to 3 days. SEE A DOCTOR: Many times strep can clear up on its own without treatment. However, if strep isnt treated one runs the risk of developing rheumatic fever, glomerulonephritis, or chorea.
