Well: You do not want to dehydrate with the diarrhea. So you should see a doctor for exam and treatment. This has been going on and sounds worsening for 4 days so go get examined

See below: This is a problem that requires a face-to-face meeting with your doctor. In that meeting, your doctor will listen to you, perform a throrough examination and possibly order labs or other tests. Based on this information, he/she will be able to tell you what's wrong and what to do about it.

Viral Gastroenteriti: Sounds like a viral gastroenteritis. It will likely pass but you have to keep close tabs on dehydration. Might be a good idea to see your primary doctor to simply ensure it is nothing more significant.

Hello.: Hello. I can't diagnose your condition. The combination of a rash, abdominal discomfort, headache, diarrhea, burping, sore throat and a runny nose could be caused by a viral infection. If you develop a fever of 104 or greater that is a reason to seek urgent care. If you develop difficulty breathing or swelling of tongue or throat that is an emergency. Because of diarrhea, you need to be drinking water to avoid dehydration. If inspite of attempts to remain hydrated; you develop a high resting pulse rate and you feel dizzy upon getting up, that means you might have still become dehydrated. If you can't remain adequately hydrated, you may need to be seen at an emergency room for intravenous hydration. Currently, you are not describing symptoms that would dictate a emergency evaluation. However, if your situation worsens, you may need to consider that option. I hope that you feel better soon. Take care.

Sore throat, runny nose and tired what should I do?

Sore throat, runny: Get lots of rest. Stay hydrated. Eat healthy. You may want to use saline nasal spray to alleviate nasal congestion that can accompany an upper respiratory tract infection. If you are feeling poorly despite these, see you doctor.

Some tips: Tips: sore throat – gargle with warm salt water (1/2 tsp salt in 8 oz of water). Get strep test/culture if very sore. Congestion – saline nose drops or netti pot. For anti-inflammatory effect & mobilizing mucus- homemade chicken noodle soup. Hydrate- lots of water/clear broth/ add honey & a small amt. Of lemon juice to chamomile tea. Fever/ pain – Acetaminophen / nsaid’s rest!

What can I do for a sore throat runny nose sneezing and coughing?

What can I do for a sore throat runny nose sneezing and coughing?

Try ginger tea: It sounds like u have a viral illness with those nasal symptoms + cough. My personal favorite (what I use) is ginger tea -try boiling a chunk of fresh ginger for 10 min, let cool a little bit & add honey. The over the counter throat medicines & lozenges may help - ever tried the 'hurricane spray'? I would try the ginger tea first. Sometimes u can get it in the tea aisle if u don't want to make it.

Had sore throat & runny nose then very few red rashes on face that are not painful. What could it be?

Had sore throat & runny nose then very few red rashes on face that are not painful. What could it be?

Probably viral: Sometimes strep infection starts as sore throat and causes small red bumps on face and upper body. Some other viruses can. A use these as well. You should first get the rapid strep test by tomorrow at an urgent care to be sure. Feel better

She's running a fever &' is coughing a lot / sore throat / runny nose?

She's running a fever &' is coughing a lot / sore throat / runny nose?

Dr. Can check throat: New throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). Throat lozenges and Tylenol or Motrin can help decrease throat pain.

Still flu: Influenza can definitely cause people to have ongoing fevers for a week or more. Unless you have reason to think you might be immune suppressed or have some kind of auto-immune issue then it is probably safe to persevere (provided you are staying the same or getting better). http://www. Seasonal flu: Is very common viral infection with symptoms you have described. Usually the condition resolves on its own with home care. Drink water and get a good rest. NSAIDs (e.g. Aleve) are also recommended every 6 hours. If concerned, see your PCP after 7-8 days or so.

Sore throat. Runny nose stuffy at night. Ear feels like their is liquid in it and everytime I swalllow it hurts my ear.

These symptoms: Without a fever may or may not prove infection. Pressure in sinuses and ears can cause pain. There is congestion as proven by the ear and the pain on swallowing may just be irritation of the throat and the nerve. You will need decongestant/antihistamine and perhaps a nasal spray but your doctor should decide whether you need antibiotics or not. Go get examined and find out. Good luck.

Good hand washing: This can actually be normal. It depends on how much he is exposed to other children. Try to make sure his hands are washed well before he eats. Also when he gets i'll treat his fever and push the liquids, what ever he likes to drink.

Resolving Strep/Uri: Both strep infection of the throat and/or uris will resolve in an otherwise healthy patient. Taking an appropriate antibiotic may shorten the course slightly, but know abx are intended to prevent the complications of strep eg, rheumatic fever or glomerulonephritis. Giving an abx to people with colds, green runny noses, a few days of sinus congestion isn't helpful and is potentially harmful.

Why do I have a cough, sore throat, runny nose, sometimes stuffy and my ears feels clogged

Sinusitis: You may have sinusitis due to allergies which causes your nose to run, causing a post nasal drip and cough. Also the mucus can backflow into your ears and cause diminished hearing or a clogged up feeling.

Hi, I have a sore throat, runny nose and a bit of a headache. That's just a virus right? I should just drink lots of water and rest up?

Virus: Most likely just a head cold. Virus is the most likely cause. Bedrest, increased water intake, and symptom management is the treatment of choice
