Yes: A little bit of blood tinged stuff or small blood clots can be expected in the 1st couple of weeks. But if you suffer from profuse bleeding , contact the surgeon immediately. Runny nose: Most runny noses are from cold viruses or allergies. Antibiotics don't usually help with this. Be cautious not to overuse nasal decongestant sprays like Afrin. Taking decongestants such as sudafed may help, but only use them for the short term, usually a few days only. Unclear: You may well have a viral illness and needs treatment as such. The symptoms are worse after you run. If you still feel the same way after you run then most likely viral and will take time to clear. Take it easy while you are ill with lots of fluid and may be advil (ibuprofen).
