Sore Throat Numb Face
Sore Throat: Temperature and sore throat generally are not related to numbness. I suspect two or more things are going on simultaneously. Numbness of face and shoulders makes me think out electrolyte disorders, neurologic disorders, or hyperventilation. See your doctor first.See 1 more doctor answer
See primary care: Headache and face pain arise from sets of nerves that are different from the nerves that give body pain and numbness of hands. Before seeing a neurologist, I would see a primary care physician especially if this turns out to be fibromyalgia (widespread body pain, non-restful sleep, daytime fatigue).
I have numbness and a fuzzy feeling in my scalp, face and forehead also fuzzy feeling in limbs and a sore throat which moved from left side to right?
See a doctor: You may just be coming down with a virus, but the numbness in the scalp/face/forehead isn't a common symptom of the usual sore throat/common cold. Sometimes shingles can start as a "nerve"-like feeling, so if you've had chicken pox in the past, and you see a rash start, see a doctor right away, especially if it is on your face (can affect vision if left untreated).
Sore throat white patches on tonsils sore throat that gets worse at night, and face numbness with dizzness and hair loss?
I cut my hand with a kitchen knifecame down with a sore throat went to doctor diagnosed with strep today numbness on face and sore jaw/neck wen back was given stronger meds is this correct diagnosis?
Chuckle: Difficult to imagine the correlation of the events. The strep should have been diagnosed as high probability by lab or by exam with throat exudate (pus) and proper medicine given. There is no such thing as stronger medicine but there is proper medicine by sensitivity. I am sure you are thinking of tetanus. I think part of the problem is anxiety. Relax a little.See 1 more doctor answer
I suddenly noticed last evening that my chin felt numb. There are no lesions or marks to be seen. I have also had a sore throat for several weeks.
Concerned: Numbness in the face should be taken seriously. Although other entities can cause numbness there are life threatening issues that need to be examined, ruled out. I would suggest seeing an emergency room doctor for a more complete exam and history.
Hi. I was wondering if I should go to the doctor. I have numbness on the right side of my pallet. Feels like a small bump is also there & sore throat.

8 mos ago had thyroid US with solid mass 0.7x0.4x1.5, Endo said no problem. Now I have chronic sore throat, cough, numb chin and facial pain, related?
Not thyroid: These symptoms Don't sound thyroid related. How long have you had them? Sore throat and cough suggest a viral upper respiratory tract infection. THE facial and chin symptoms sound like inflammation and/or irritation of superficial nerves. See an otolaryngologist if symptoms persist. The endocrinologist will follow up on the thyroid mass.See 3 more doctor answers

I've had a light sore throat for over a week now. I have red dots on my tongue. I feel weak and fatigued most days and have had numbness in fingers?
Get Strep Test: Depending on other potential signs and symptoms - fever, lack of cough, tonsillar exudates, and/or anterior cervical tender adenopathy, you may have strep throat, which can cause a "strawberry tongue." However, 90% of pharyngitis is viral, so antibiotics would not be indicated unless strep test positive or drys suspicion for strep is very high. Take Care!

I have tiny red bumps on the tip of my tongue it feels numb and I also have a sore throat and stuffy nose?
Possibly a virus: It sound as if you have a viral infection of the sinuses. There is not much you can do to treat viral infections. Try using a nasal irragator (these can be purchased at a specialty pharmacy) if you have a fever than you may be dealing with a bacterial infection such as strep throat. So if you do have a fever you need to see a doctor to determine the proper antibiotic and dose. Hope you feel better.
Chest pain, weight up and down, headaches, left arm, leg numbness, eye issues sore throat and more could I have thyroid disease? Or early signs?
Unlikely!: The symptoms sound like an anxiety state, but see your doctor for a medical evaluation to be sure!
Get sore throat seen: You should have your sore throat looked at and treated in case it may be a strep infection.
It may not be very: Comfortable but there is no specific restriction for this procedure. You will receive some twilight anesthesia so potentially this could be a reason to wait as well as the potential to infect the operators and nurses doing your procedure. If it is elective it would probably be in the best interest of everyone involved for you to wait until you are back to full health.
