Get checked.: When one tonsil is larger than the other, and this is new, you should get checked by your doc, even though you have no fever. Sometimes strep can present without a fever, and sometimes without a sore throat. Cancer: Smoking + sore throat for more than 2 weeks + enlarged lymph nodes = cancer until proven otherwise. You need to see your local ENT asap.
