Maybe herpes...: Hmm... You have a misunderstanding about genital herpes. There is no such thing as "not sexually transmitted kind" of genital herpes. However, rarely causes prolonged open sores. Nevertheless, herpes is a possible cause if you have some sort of immune deficiency disease or are taking immune suppressing drugs. Unclear. : For now I would say no. The ear needs to be reevaluated but the problem with the stool is concerning. True diarrhea this long might be a complication of the antibiotics. Sore in ear canal that wont heal....be approx 8 months. Just crust over. tried clindamycin and didnt help. ENT dr didnt have any ideas....
See another doc: You need to have a better consult May need a biopsy. See a doc at a consult center such as at a referral center. It is not clear to me where in ear canal this is .
