Not fun fall: Ice is always your best friend when you fall, especially with swelling and bruising of your knee/ ankle.You do want to have it checked out, especially if your ankle is swollen to determine if it's a strain or sprain.For either, it's important to keep it elevated above your heart level, to help reduce swelling.
