Hard to guess: Throat pain can be from strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. This is an issue that warrants medical evaluation. You could be dealing with a sternal mass, or just be dealing with a prominent sternum. An x-ray or ultrasound of the area will give more clues as to the diagnosis.

Of your sternum. It might be normal to have some crepitus. Rib soreness can be from costochondritis. You are young. It is unlikely to be infection or tumor. However if the symptoms persist - see your doctor.
