Any fever? Maybe mono? Maybe oral herpes? The yellow could be superficial growth of bacteria or damaged skin or it might be jaundice. No: Acute pharyngitis is usually a viral infection. I wonder if your PMD put you on an antibiotic. If so, the white tongue could be a fungal infection. Sores from kissing: hello ! Mono has an incubation period of 4-6 weeks so you kiss and get sick 1 and a half months later. This is unlikely to be MONO unless you kissed someone 6 weeks ago.
