Herpes of tongue: A cold sore can actually occur inside the mouth and as such might not be immediately recognizable. Given that it's the same spot and recurs with stress those are key findings. Sure you could prove it with a special culture for HSV but no need. Would keep stress to a minimum. If v painful ask doc for an antiviral which is most useful early in disease course. See a Dr.: Headaches have many triggers, and can be caused by sinus, tension, allergies, stress, and also tmj/tmd. I would get evaluated, with a thorough history and exam. Probable abrasion.: It's probably an abrasion and should get better if you leave it alone for a couple of day. Keep it clean and dry (pat it dry after shower or bath). If does not get better in a couple of days or if it gets worse, you need to get checked. ...Read more
