I have a big red sore on the edge of my lip, i squeezed it and it popped now it just bleeds. Is this a cold sore or a pimple?

Can't really tell : From here. Cold sores aren't so likely to "pop", but things don't always follow any rules. If you've had cold sores in the past, this could be another one. Could be a zit. ...Read more

Red rimmed lips. Tiny bumps near edge of lips and on lip. But near the edge. Not tingly or itching. But my lips feel dry. Doesn't look like sore.

Hard to know: .. without examining them. Could be dryness, however, living in Denver I suspect you are accustomed to using balms for dry lips. One thought is that you have a sensitivity to some additive in a lip balm or cosmetic. Try using Aquaphor for a few days to see if there is improvement and, of course, maintain good hydration. A small bump just appeared on my upper lip, not on the edge more to the center, from stepping outside. Cold sore maybe?

Cold sores are hollo: Typically on the outside at the border of the red. If it recurs in the same place then cold sore is just about the only possibility, otherwise dermatologic conditions are hard to diagnose without seeing them. Cold sores are hollow, fluid filled, and temporary--going into healing in under a week. Warts, moles, tumors, other infections don't heal up as fast and need treatment. ...Read more
