Rule out other thing: This is atypical unless you are developing more infractions or embolism to that lung which can be investigated by a ct angiogram of the lungs. PFT...: The best way to see how the lungs are functioning is to get pulmonary function testing. This will diagnose airway obstruction and determine if the obstruction, if present, is reversible (ex. asthma) or irreversible (ex. COPD).
