Lesion: Lots of things. Take a photo of it and add image to healthtap. In meantime, could be pimple, abrasion from brush, bite, infected cut, allergic reaction or immune skin disease. Top of head feels sore. It feels like my muscle underneath my scalp flares up every evening. Best I can explain. Please advise possible causes?

Anxiety?: A very common reason for scalp tenderness without any associated skin changes would be anxiety-induced scalp muscle tightness.
