Canker Sore: I would still keep your appointment. Perhaps they can laser treat it. They will be aware of it, it is not contagious, and they will comfortably work around it. ...Read more

How to make a mouth sore heal faster?

How to make a mouth sore heal faster?

Maybe canker sore?: Canker sores are common aphthous ulcers of the surface of the mouth that occur situationally, often in response to stressors, are bacterial or viral, & can be treated topically with many otc products that reduce local discomfort & potentially speed healing. However, oral/dental problems & a number of systemic diseases cause canker sore-like lesions--crohn's, behcet's, std (sexually transmitted). ...Read more

Burned roof of mouth a few days ago now it still is sore and tissue is swollen could be infected how can I heal it faster?

Avoid spicy foods and use bland toothpaste. Ask your dentist about a prescription rinse that can help soothe the area while it heals. Good luck! ...Read more

I wear a c-pape machine and sometimes i get a sore on one or both sides of my mouth and my mask just covers my nose and my nose and my nose get dry like a plastic coating around my nostrils. What can I buy to help heal the sores and make my nose stop hurti

This : This is a common problem i see with patients who use a c-pap. The proper treatment depends a bit on the exact location and clinical observation so i would recommend you consult a dermatologist. Sometimes i recommend Hydrocortisone cream with a thin layer of zinc oxide paste over that to help reduce inflammation and irritation. Other cases, just a little bit of vaseline. I hope that helps. ...Read more

Small raised rash on corner of mouth doctors said its not a cold sore and gave me triamcinolone acetoneide cream when will this rash heal?

Probably won't: Triamcinolone cream, a corticosteroid, is not the treatment for the most likely cause which is Angular Cheilits(inflammation of the angles of the lips). This condition has multiple causes. Treatment with an OTC anti-fungal cream will often cure it(such as Lotrimin). Avoid constantly licking the area. For more information go to: WikiWand.com and search: Angular cheilitis ...Read more
