U R a minor but U--: -need an answer. U must share this with Ur parents! Quad pain may B due 2 overuse, or 2 rapid elevation of Ur program. B sure U have a day of rest after a hard workout. Hip pain is more of a worry. There R conditions such as femoral acetbular impingement, or poor acetabular coverage of the femoral head. Back problem?: This sounds like low back issue aggravated by pregnancy. I would see your pcp. In meantime, doing low back exercises especially toning abdominals and hamstring stretches. ...Read more

The it band is most commonly irritated on the outside aspect of the knee. Bursitis?: If the pain is on the outside, or lateral area of your hip, then it's likely to be bursitis. This typically responds to rest, ice or heat, and topical ointments. If the pain is in the front, or anterior part of your hip, then it may be something involving the hip joint. If you are accomodating your hip pain by changing your body position while walking, for example, this may put stress on the joints in a way they were not designed to be stressed. Hip pain radiated up right abdomen. Also does the same on left abdomen. Activity worsens it. More of sore/burning pain. Been present for 6 months?

May not be hip.: This can happen but is unusual. Hip pain usually is most pronounced in the groin and radiates down towards the knee. It is rare to have it radiate up to the abdomen. You should see a doctor with experience in this type of problem and be certain of the cause of the pain. Once the diagnosis is certain it will be much easier to decide on a treatment.
