Sore Bruised Feeling Feet For No Rationality
My feet from the arch area to the ball always feel sore, very similar to the feeling of being badly bruised. Pain consistent all day. What could it be?
Plantar Fasciitis: Your symptoms sound like plantar fasciitis, an inflammation of the tissue on the bottom of the foot. It is usually due to an overuse sort of injury. Treatment involves rest, motrin or tylenol, (acetaminophen) and calf stretches to increase the calf muscle's strength, taking pressure off of the plantar fascia. Hope this helps! ...Read more

Yes: If your doctor says its 'healed' its ok to start exersising again. It may still feel a bit tender and parasthesias(pins/needles etc.) normal. You probably want to start in very slowly w/ your exersise routine and gradually build up the duration and intensity of your workout routine. If you have any problems see your ors.Good luck! ...Read more
Ankle was sprained 3.5 months ago, xray 2 weeks later was neg. Still feeling a stabbing burning pain in my foot and my ankle bone is tender. Help?
MRI Good idea: If the pain is on the outside of the ankle, one also has to consider injury to the peroneus tendons that run on the outside of the lower leg, just behind the bone at the ankle then into the foot. Very commonly injured when you sprain you ankle and very commonly missed. MRI good idea. I will see this and other possible things like occult fracture, joint surface injury (talar dome). Good luck. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Sounds like but: Sounds like it, but plantar fasciitis is not the only condition that can create pain in the arch. Tendon dysfunction, tendon tear, foot sprain, nerve entrapment or even fracture are some of the conditions thay can create pain in the arch. The co-pay is nothing if you consider how much it would be if you leave something untreated. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Many possibilities: Your pain could be as a result of many different things. One would need to do a thorough history and physical exam and possibly some laboratory and radiology exams to determine the exact cause. Have it evaluated by a professional to see if you have fractured it of if it is just a soft tissue injury such as a sprain. You may have a ligamentus or a tendon injury or even a fracure. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

I went and dropped a soccer goal right on to my left foot it's slightly swollen and slightly bruised and really sore to walk on, what should I do?
I hurt my foot and my second toe is highly bruised and I can't bend it if I try it hurts, and the area around all of my toes is very sore if it moves.
You need to be: assesed in the ER to make sure you have not fractured your foot/toe. an x-ray is indicated. The fact that you bruised it means that some trauma to the area has occurred and lack of mobility with pain can often be related to bone fractures. Take care. ...Read more
