Im suffering from acne on my face and back, i have bad scaring, black heads and at times pimples like boils. I have tried retin a, but after birth the acne started again. I was advised to go on yaz prevrntion tablets with flucloxacillin 250mg twice a day

Probably not: Most of the time black stool is not of concern. Lots of things can make stool black - iron pills, pepto bismal, etc. So unless it continues, don't worry. However, bleeding from the upper intestinal track - ulcers, polyps, inflammation does turn stool black. So, if it continues and you are not on iron post-delivery, do see a doctor. COCPS and breastmilk: Cocps are safe for use while breastfeeding, however they do reduce breastmilk supply. Best to start cocps 6-8 weeks after delivery so you can establish breastfeeding. Progestin only oral contraceptives will have less effect on milk supply . Depends: Most prescribed or recommended by an experienced OB will have little effect on baby. Even those with some hydrocodone will not pass into the milk in enough quantity to bother baby if used cautiously.Some sedation would be expected if you use the maximum amount prescribed.
