Difficult question: Possibly you could take suboxone but are you ready to by responsible to take it yourself? Would you decide not to take it and go out and use? Chronic migraine: Almost certainly you have migraines, the most common cause of chronic headaches with a normal exam. Amitriptyline is one preventative, perhaps another agent would work better. If you are taking an otc pain med or something like fiorcet, you may have rebound/medication overuse headaches. You need a good acute agent (ie a triptan ie imitrex). You also should get regular sleep and exercise. ...Read more
