Reflux: This is probably reflux. You can try eating smaller meals and see if this helps. You can see if reflux meds help these symptoms. You may need Prilosec twice a day and Zantac (ranitidine) at night. Bloody taste: May be due to acid reflux or other medical problems. May be due to infected teeth or gums. And there are so many other possibilities. opening to sinus: If the cyst was in the vicinity of the sinus the removal may have created an opening from the mouth to the sinus. These often heal and close on their own. Antibiotics would be prescribed along with precautions regarding creating pressure between the mouth and sinus such as drinking through a straw.
