Sometimes start to cough because of a cold randomly and it get almost so bad I almost puke.I have asthma. Is this just a cough or a mini asthma attack?

Be seen: It could be several things, from an infection to more chronic lung diseases. If pneumonia, it sounded atypical at first, but you may be getting an infection on top of it. Emphysema (COPD) can act this way, as can asthma. Drug reactions can cause cough. Lung cancer also has to be considered. Shortness of breath is a serious problem and needs more evaluation. ...Read more

I have COPD I am having to take more inhaler as of late, due to tightness in throat and wheezing, does this mean that it is getting worse?

Acute exacerbation: Either getting worse or just sudden worsening, what we call acute exacerbation. You didn't mention which inhalers but in general, you should be on three, two of which are preventive (spiriva or tudorza plus advair or symbicort), and third is rescue (albuterol). Could also consider Daliresp (roflumilast) pill. Go see your doctor for evaluation & adjustment of your regimen. ...Read more
