Depends: Ideally, the desired side effect will be decreased urinary frequency. I would expect the effects to begin as early as 30 minutes to an hour and last up to 24 hours. Adverse side effects could include dry mouth dry eyes constipation and dry mouth. One of the worst side effects could include urinary retention requiring catheterization. Various pills are prescribed and it is hit and miss to see which helps..Both ot the pills you mention may help.The pills may cause dry mouth,? Has your MD dilated your bladder ? Yes: FDA recommends at least 12 weeks between injections. Vesicare (solifenacin) is only 1 of the meds.that can be tried for OAB.OAB if you have 2 of:urinate 8 timess a day & 2times a night,urgent urination often,leak urine frequently. Botox take about 2 wk to work.May last up to 8mos. Pills give more dry mouth.
