Pain/discomfort when pressing on solar plexus with four fingers (index and middle, two hands) 1,5 inches inwards press. Only when standing.
Discomfort behind ribs at Right Upper Quadrant. Feel like something is stuck at solar plexus and slightly to the right when i walk or lie down. ?
Muscle?: If this gets worse with movements and your rib cage is tender it sounds like your muscles might be inflamed and sore. Evaluate what you have done lately. Sharp pains in solar plexus, triggered by leaning over. They go away very fast (5 mins) but keep recurring. Male age 28.
Epigastric pain: hello ~ are you doing any situps at the gym. This is a common cause. If so dont stop they will go away when the muscle gets stronger. Otherwise avoid spicy food and alcohol and take an antacid Maalox etc as 4-5 teaspoons 3 - 4 x a day and see if it improves. Over did it when excersising on Thursday and still have considerable pain in solar plexus area is this normal and what can I do to help?
Push fluids/rest: Yes it is fairly normal to have continued pain for up to a week if you overdid the exercise in the abdominal area. Just drink lots of water and back off on the exercise. It may take a week or two but you should be back to normal soon. Always increase exercise regimens slowly to avoid muscle strain and this type of pain. ...Read more
