Over did it when excersising on Thursday and still have considerable pain in solar plexus area is this normal and what can I do to help?
Push fluids/rest: Yes it is fairly normal to have continued pain for up to a week if you overdid the exercise in the abdominal area. Just drink lots of water and back off on the exercise. Epigastric pain: hello ~ are you doing any situps at the gym. This is a common cause. If so dont stop they will go away when the muscle gets stronger. Otherwise avoid spicy food and alcohol and take an antacid Maalox etc as 4-5 teaspoons 3 - 4 x a day and see if it improves.
