See a dentist: I commonly see people that tell me they have had sinus infection, their physician gave them meds, it went away and then came back and they can't figure out why...Many times they had a dental abcess and there was a tooth that needed a root canal. With palate involved i would definitely say it is possible for you too. ...Read moreGet help from a doctor now ›

MoneyWhereYrMouthIs: Ahh,so! Very perceptive, grasshopper!!You may be describing what are called "petichiae,"which are small dots that don't blanch with pressure and may indicate inflammation, infection, local minor trauma(what you been puttin' in there, hmmm?),a blood problem OR nothing. So ask yourself if anything is wrong or if you feel OK.If OK,wait and see if they go away or get worse. I think I have a soft palate canker sore in the back of my throat, it hard to put an ointment on it cause its so far back. How do it treat this?
Mouth rinse: Unfortunately there are no good remedies for canker sores and causes are often unknown. The best treatments are usually just to treat pain, not to cure the sore. My personal favorite is what most call magic mouthwash. It is 1/3 Benadryl (to reduce inflammation), 1/3 viscous Lidocaine (to reduce pain), and 1/3 maalox (to make it stick). You rinse and spit or swallow. Ask your dentist about it. ...Read moreGet help from a doctor now ›
