Salivary glands: You probably bumped or scraped one of them and it became inflamed and swollen. It should go away on its own. Do not go poking at it. Can happen when eating things like chips, crusty bread, and crackers. Good Luck. Read more

Hello, I am 16. Since past 3 days, I have noticed tiny painless bumps on my soft palate. I don't smoke, drink. Wondering if it's related to puberty?

Doubt it: Wow! I'm impressed by how aware of your body you are to notice tiny bumps on your soft palate! My guess is they are minor salivary glands that are temporarily blocked forming tiny cysts, probably will go away by themselves. Also, kudos to not smoking and drinking!

Soft palate: How large is the bump? How long has it been present? Are you a smoker? Have you had any trauma in his area? It is impossible to make a diagnosis without seeing and examining the bump.
