I have a lump on the top of my shoulder that is roughly around two inches around. It is soft and painless. What could this be?

If the mass is enlarging it may be important to have this checked out as soft tissue sarcomas and more aggressive things can be painless at first so would follow this appropriately. ...Read more

What do you suggest if my father had a stroke last month, says he has a lump on rt.side from shoulder on down to elbow, says real soft?

Seek medical attn: Most likely this "lump" is unrelated to his stroke, but the only way to know what is going on is to be evaluated by a medical professional. My husband has about more or less 1.5 inch lump in his back between the shoulder blades. Movable, painless didn't change in size. What could it be?

Have your husband's doctor look at this. One surgeon i know says, "the best place for a lump is in a specimen bottle." of course, that's not always the case - but have his doctor evaluate him to be sure. ...Read more
