I have a squishy soft lump on my anus. From researching, it sounds like hemorrhoids but could also be anal warts. How can I tell which?
It's more likely: To be a hemorrhoid, as you mentioned. A wart would be a little firmer and not "squishy". You should consult a physician for evaluation and management of this, in case it needs to be treated medically. Sometimes medications work, but other times hemorrhoids require a simple surgical procedure. ...Read more

The chronic fissure though, has only a 20% chance of healing without surgery so see a colon and rectal specialist soon please before you develop ...Read more

Then you can get a clot in the bulge which makes it last even longer. If the bump does not resolve, go see your family doc to make sure it is not something worse. ...Read more

Lump outside anus. Has had it for more than 4 years, but it will occasionally swell and is very painful at that time. Can you tell what it might be?
