Can a strained muscle in shoulder cause a soft lump near armpit with AP/breast pain. The lump feels like it moves is not rock hard and is near rib. ?

You should: But remember, it's actually better that a lump be painful from a cancer perspective as lymphomatous nodes tends to be painless while reactive nodes(like from infections) tend to be painful. Have had a soft painless lump in my right armpit for several years size of a golf ball a smaller in my left armpit. neither has changed size ?
LymphNode v cyst v ?: While it's rare for lymph nodes to stay swollen for a long time, it's not impossible. Typically they're pain if acute. There are many glands & cysts in the axilla which could explain lump. Perhaps a lipoma (painless benign fatty deposit) or ingrown hair (but these are typically painful). No change in size is good.
