Depends: there is a lot to this question. First of all, I would make sure that you see a neurologist for a complete evaluation before exercising. You may need an MRI of the neck as well. Collars : Collars can be a hindrance as well as helpful. If you wear them and they are helping you move easily and function normally then that's okay. But if you feel your range of motion decreased the muscles will start to lose tone and weaken. Yoga is one of the best exercises you could find to strengthen weaker neck and back muscles.
