Low aldosterone, normal renin. Sodium 141(135-145), potassium 3.4(3.5-5.0) confused, shouldnt sodium be lower if low aldosterone and potassium higher?
Why would U so think: Fiber, of both water soluble and water insoluble variety, provides health benefits. Fiber accelerates how quickly food transits through the gut. Fiber adds bulk to stool and improves bowel regularity. Fiber can be used as an adjunct to weight loss by filling you up without excess calories, and in so doing restricting fat intake. But too much fiber can make you gassy and increase stool volume. ...Read more

Can I take vitamin C pills (always made of sodium/potassium bicarbonate, (sodium bicarbonate) ascorbate, benzoate...) w. pulmonary hypertension requiring low sodium diet?
Yes, however...: I strongly advise you take Vitamin C, ideally 1000 mg 2-3x/day, but you should try to find forms without sodium. I don't know what's available in Denmark, but in the US you can find ascorbic acid, or calcium or magnesium ascorbate without sodium. Lypo-spheric Vit. C is esp. well-absorbed,but has 120 mg of sodium, but a low sodium diet usually allows 2000mg/day. Vit. C is best with bioflavonoids. ...Read more
A low sodium salt has contents: 66.6%potassium chloride,33.3%sodium chloride.Should I be concerned on its high potassium or good replacement for salt?
Use caution.: Salt intake and salt replacements are getting a lot of press lately. Sodium load in a diet is getting out of control due to practices of our food industry and taste requirements. People look at the alternatives and Potaccium is one of them. A usual replacement shows that the ratio of NaCL/KCl should be 60/40. So your salt may be showing an unusual ratio. But be aware that it is quantity not ratio. ...Read more

Mag citrate: This supplement is too low of a dose to cause changes in blood calcium or potassium. Also your body has independent mechanism to regulate these electrolytes.
