Can plexus slim be taken w seaweed nazacort echinachea opc grapeseed garlic Lipitor (atorvastatin) ginger omeprazole fish oil acetyllcartinine & glucosaminecondroit?
Probably: One of the problems with many supplements is that there is little research on safety and effectiveness. Plexus slim has many ingredients; I have reviewed them ; they are all safe and have no known interactions with the things you are taking. However, avoid plexus slim accelerator- it is hazardous! i believe anyone on Lipitor (atorvastatin) should take coq10. Is it safe to take ginseng, vit d, k, calcium + capsicum supplements and cinnamon, dandelion, green, rosehip, chamomile and peppermint teas together?
Who knows?: Why would anyone have ever scientifically studied such a combination? Do so, as with all otc supplements, at your own risk. The only one that has been scientifically studied and has actual medical benefits without significant risks is the vitamin d. Calcium can't hurt. The rest are a waste of money and possibly health. Don't get your medical information from friends, tv or internet scams. ...Read more

I take flp product containing stabilized aloevera gel, fructose, natural cranberry and apple juice, sorbitol, ascorbic and citric acids. What are uses?
Many uses: I'm curious why you're taking a product you don't know the use for. The active ingredient is aloe vera gel- everything else is for flavor or preservatives. Aloe vera has many proven health benefits- it helps reduce inflammation, lowers blood sugar & cholesterol, soothes inflamed GI tracts, etc. You might look for aloe with less added sugars. Why Supplements?: Since you're 17 years old, I am concerned that you are spending time and money wasting it on the supplements that you listed. While some of the substances are present in a healthy diet, there is actually no reason you should be taking them in the form of a supplement. You should be getting all the vitamin D you need in a healthy diet, and the other things, except Prilosec, are unproven. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Are there natural sources of Carbonic Anhydrase Inhibitors? I've read pomegranate, milk thistle and turmeric are? True?
Verify your sources: Sadly, despite a huge level of interest in the medicinal properties of foods, or maybe because of it, there is an enormous amount of false, half true, or exaggerated information on the internet. In regards to CAI in Pomegranate, I found a review article in an Iranian pharmacy journal that cited 2 chemistry review articles, neither of which makes any mention of Pomegranate whatsoever. ...Read more
