Can deer tick cause death in human -hamptons new york?

Can deer tick cause death in human -hamptons new york?

Very unlikely: It sounds as if you are worried about lyme disease. Deer ticks are potential carriers of lyme disease, human anaplasmosis and babesiosis. Lyme disease can cause very disabling permanent effects; death has been reported, but would be unusual. Anaplasmosis and babesiosis would not be considered deadly. Here is a link to centers of disease control on lyme: http://www.Cdc.Gov/lyme/. ...Read more

Very rarely if at all fever will be present. Typhoid on the other hand, caused by salmonella typhi, is a systemic febrile disease, which can cause sepsis. Classic typhoid fever will rarely present with diarrhea. ...Read more

4 days ago handled sickbird w/eye infect. wore gloves, washed. now have flu sym. ear sinus throat, low grade fvr. coincidence? BTW cat ate bird

Most Likely Not: If you wore gloves and washed your hands after touching bird, this is probably just a coincidence. However, if this does not seem to be resolving in a "normal fashion", lasting much longer than a viral infection, I would get it checked. Cat is OK. Disgusting, but OK! :-) ...Read more

At what temperature does creutzfeldt-jakob disease virus in beef get killed when cooked?

Not "killed": The agent of cjd (misfolded protein or prion) is not a virus as there is no dna or RNA in it. It is unfortunately extremely resistant to inactivation and there is no evidence that cooking eliminates risk, i.e., you cannot cook contaminated meat enough to make it safe. ...Read more

They do: They sometimes do. The best example is the recent devastating outbreak in haiti that killed almost 10, 000 people. The thing about cholera is that it has to start with someone who has it.
