Allergy?: Sounds like you may be reacting to the pollen counts in your area. Are your eyes itchy and watery, too? If so you could try an over the counter antihistamine to see if this helps. Please call your OB: And ask your OB what u can take, sounds like a cold, could be something else, but if u were my OB pt, i would tell you u can take tylenol (acetaminophen) no more than 6 regular in one day, robitussin, extra vit c plain Claritin if necessary for your sinuses and your prenatal vit of course but u need to call your OB and lots of liquids. ...Read more

Unlikely propofol: It's unlikely this reaction is due to propofol so long after the procedure. It sounds as though your husband is having a histamine-release reaction for some reason--like hay fever. Try Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or a non-drowsy antihistamine such as loratidine. This should clear up on its own. ...Read more

Depends: Mucinex is usually best to loosen the phlegm of a cough. Since you have congestion and cold symptoms best to use Mucinex for coughs.
Perhaps an OTC antihistamine like Allergra or Claritin would work better for cold symptoms ...Read more

Ask provider,but yes: It should be okay, but do talk w/ your provider since they can interact to increase dizziness and drowsiness risks. Perhaps your provider will offer an alternative or tell you a good schedule to take them on. Take care - allergies can be rough, I know. Also consider non-drug therapy for anxiety if possible. Dizzy with low BP: You may need fluids if that is much lower than your normal BP. You should get seen in the clinic. Have them recheck the BP standing and laying down to see if it changes. Get some blood tests done (CBC electrolytes) and go from there. Usually having cold like symptoms the issue is a virus. The rash and dizziness complicate matters. ...Read more

Cold preparations: Over the counter cold medicines do not reduce symptoms enough to risk the side effects including changes in heart rate and blood pressure.
