Smoking Pot Marijuana After Getting A Stent
Smoking in CAD: Secondary prevention guidelines emphasize smoking cessation for good reason. One's chance of a future cardiac event is worsened by continuing to smoke. Since someone with a stent already knows that they are at higher future risk (they are compared with someone without CAD history) then doing everything possible to reduce thy risk (like quitting smoking) is important. ...Read more

Im smoking cigarette so much.Daily 20+ ciggarette.I was starting before 2year ago.How to leave smoking.
Cold turkey.: As far as quitting without any nicotine replacement, the cold turkey method is great. But plan it ahead of time. Pick a quit date in advance, maybe a meaningful date like a birthday or holiday, and gather people who are aware of your attempt that you can call upon for moral support if you start to falter. Good luck!! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

What kind of surgery: Generally "social" use of marijuana is not going to cause any difficulties. Heavy marijuana smokers can get lung problems just as cigarette smokers do, and if you are having general anesthesia, that might make a difference. It should not cause any problems in general with either surgery or anesthesia in lower-dose smokers. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

It is very negative for the kidney smoking marijuana?
No: We would have found this by now. If you choose to use this familiar recreational intoxicant that makes folks silly, do it safely and don't drive a motor vehicle.
