Smoke Marijuana Taking
No: Reason: 1. Smoking recreational marijuana is illegal unless you live in Colorado & Washington state. 2. If you use marijuana for medicinal purpose talk to your prescribing doctor as we don't have enough evidence to support safety, risk, benefit & interactions with prescribed medicine. 3. Due to impurity you shouldn't use street marijuana. ...Read more
No contraindication: Keep in mind that marijuana is a schedule 1 controlled substance and is classified by the federal government as having no currently accepted medical use. Still some states have allowed medical marijuana programs for certain conditions. There is no contraindication to taking marijuana and atenolol. However many people experience side effects of anxiety, joint pains, and mouth ulcers sometimes. ...Read more
Bad idea: Smoking (inhaling smoke, which is full of lung irritants and cancer-causing chemicals) of any kind is unhealthy and bad for patients. There is rarely a need for smoking marijuana, but some people want to and like to smoke pot. However, if one's doctor has prescribed weed as a medical treatment, the risks and benefits will have to be compared. ...Read more

I would think so: Although, tamiflu (oseltamivir) is prescribed for the influenza virus which can attack the lungs. Therefore, you may want to refrain from smoking due to the risk of more irritation on your lungs. But I know of no interactions, although the combination of tamiflu (oseltamivir) and cannabis has not been scientifically tested for safety. ...Read more
No. Smoke is toxic.: Toxic means unsafe, or really unsafe. The intentional habit of inhaling burning organic material, combined with various chemicals used in the growing and manufacturing of that material (regardless of whether it is tobacco, marijuana, or any other plant) is bad for the body. Just think about it. Who would intentionally start something burning and inhale the stuff over and over and over? ...Read more

Take Triamcinolone cream for Hemorrhoids, and Doxycycline for UTI. Is it ok to smoke marijuana while taking these? Also Prozac (fluoxetine) and Valium.
Bigger problems?: Sound like you have more pressing issues than hemorrhoids. A male with UTI's is concerning. I would contact a Urologist. Also sounds like you might need some help with substance abuse. Not condemning you just a thought. ...Read more

It's illegal: It is hard to say mj is okay when it's illegal. I know that there are many recreational smokers who get in little trouble with only very occasional use. When recreational use starts occurring more regular like daily, a person is starting to develop perhaps a habit. Sometimes, this leads to use of other drugs. I have seen mostly the people for whom mj has led to dire consequences and addictions. ...Read more
"Exactly"?: I can't say "exactly, " because marijuana is not an "exact" substance. Supplies may contain other things that increase "how dangerous" it is -- and you never know what you're going to get. Plus, marijuana itself is a mind-altering substance that impairs thinking, judgment, reaction time, and memory. It's a hallucinogen that can induce psychosis, especially in more vulnerable people. Why risk it? ...Read more
Cannot say: Depends on test item to be used (hair/nails longest), and what "rarely" means to you. MJ redistributes in body fat and then leeches out, so urine 'can' be positive for 5-90 days for regular users. You may be towards high end due to wt. Sounds like time to make responsible decision as to priorities--MJ or job/court/etc. Good luck. ...Read more
When you smoke marijuana and smoke a cigerete soon after, you feel quite a bit higher. Why, and is it unhealthy?
More dopamine?: Both are substances that boost dopamine, and other neuro transmitters in the reward center of the brain, so for you perhaps the thc increases sensitization to nicotine in the brain, this is opposite of tolerance to a substance. Recent study on rats showed thc exposed rats worked harder for nicotine than non thc rats, i.e. Nicotine more addicitve. If its a " better high" more likely to repeat. ...Read more
I am 400 pounds and rarely smoke marijuana. (Once every 6 months) How long will it take for my system to be clear?
Depends on how much: You smoke every six months. No matter what you weigh, a single use of marijuana will not give positive test results for more than 2-3 days at most, if the amount smoked is modest. If you are smoking larger quantities for the entire day, it may take several weeks to clear, because of the high fat solubility of THC. But a single joint or bowl once every 6 months should, again, be 48-72 hours. ...Read more
