Fecal transplant: I'm sure you've tried everything available, including yoghurt cultures. It sounds like you have irritable bowel syndrome. Gastric pain in pit stomach flatulence stool is foamy&hapns often. Did chemotherapy&radiation 4 cervix cancer in january. Plz help?

Malabsorption.: Flatulence and foamy stool means you are not absorbing fats well. This could be due to radiation or chemotherapy effects on your bowels or pancreas. Tell your doctor, especially about your foamy stools. Avoiding fat (dairy, fried food, cheese, oils) may help these symptoms. There are medications that can help as well. This will probably get better over time as you heal from treatment! ...Read more

I been experiencing a smell for the last 6 months or so, sweet smell, there most of the time, my gas smells similar as well, does cancer smell?

May be: It is not established, but it has been reported that dogs can smell some cancers. What you described is not likely to be related to cancer. It may be more of the nature of olfactory hallucination.

Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

How serious is a radon gas threat to getting cancer or getting sick?

Overstated: If you review the most recent literature, almost everybody agrees that the exorbitant expense of "radon-proofing" homes, especially for non-smokers, isn't a good use of money. The increased risk for non-smokers is so small that a reliable estimate can't be obtained. Otherwise it won't make you sick. ...Read more

Hi doctors, can you tell me what is radon gas and how is it linked to cancer?

Inert element: This is a bi-product of radioactive elements in the earth. In the past, it was inhaled by uranium miners, and increased their risk of lung cancer from smoking. There was an enormous hoopla over radon in homes in the late 20th century, with very weak scientific evidence mandating very expensive interventions, ordinary folks bearing huge costs. Thankfully this seems to be ending. ...Read more

Is h pylori so dangerous it has been one month after my therapy im still havig gas. Is is sign of some cancer?

Not a good bug: H. Pylori causes problems in the stomach by initiating a superficial ulceration near the cardio-esophageal junction. Healing of the ulcer is unique in that it does not occur from surrounding mucosa but rather by bone marrow stem cells migrating to heal the ulcer. H. pylori bugs release a toxin converting the stem cells to a malignant lesion. Antibiotics needed when H.pylori is active. ...Read more

Muscle irritation: As a gastrointestinal surgeon, I can tell you that I have never seen a patient with cancer present with this symptom. In all likelihood, this is just an abdominal wall muscle that is irritable, just like an eyelid that sometimes twitches during the day. If it gets worse or is accompanied by new symptoms, a physical exam with your doctor is a good idea. ...Read more
