Have a cold, pain in ears, hearing became muffled, keeps switching from both ears, specks of blood in ear wax?
Otitis externa?: Unless your eardrums have been perforated, there should not be blood in the earwax . The presence of blood suggests that you have been sticking something into the ear canal and the trauma is causing the bleeding. Alternatively, water might have got into your ear causing an infection. Effusion vs infectio: I suspect you have a middle ear effusion and not an infection. When you have an infection, there is usually pain, sometimes fever and you feel much worse. If you are just experiencing "noise" in your ear, having difficulty with hearing, then this is more likely a fluid buildup in that middle ear space.
