I have a small white bump that almost feels like its under my gum line stayed for about a month can move slightly only hurts when pressurs applied?
I noticed a small white bump on the front of my 4 y/o gums. It's not painful, and her teeth are in great condition, she's healthy otherwise. ideas?

Thanks : Thanks for the detailed information. It appears that you make an attempt to keep your mouth healthy. There are several things that can cause a recurrent swelling but in this case the most likely reason is that the nerve in the tooth associated with the swelling has died and you are experiencing recurring infections. Once the swelling gets large enough it may open up discharging the abscess allowing it to deflate and the gum tissue to appear to heal. To resolve this problem see your dentist as soon as possible so that he can confirm this with an exam and xrays. The treatment for this problem is a root canal.
