Small, White Bump On The Gum Line
I have a small white bump that almost feels like its under my gum line stayed for about a month can move slightly only hurts when pressurs applied?
I noticed a small white bump on the front of my 4 y/o gums. It's not painful, and her teeth are in great condition, she's healthy otherwise. Ideas?
Many possibilities: It could be from an infection in the tooth from trauma, small fibroma (benign), spot of irritation from fingers. Best way to rule out infections is to visit your dentist and have an xray to determine if there is an intra-boney infection. If you can wipe it off it might be the start of a yeast infection ...Read more

Hi. I am a bit worried. My upper gums are a bit swollen and red and on my upper gum on the left side is a very tiny tiny white bump. Is this bad?
I have a slight swelling at the base of a 2 year old crown and root canal...no discharge or pain. Not red or white bump just larger than other gums.
Many possibilities: Possibilities include, but not limited to, failed root canal, fractured tooth, recurrent decay, food impaction, gum abscess, traumatic incident, burn, etc. Please see your Dentist for differential diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan. Don't try to self-diagnose and self-treat. Get professional help. ...Read more

My 7 year old daughter has puss coming out of a small bump on her gum line on top of her two front teeth, could that be from a tooth access?
Random small, clear bump on upper gums? I smoke sometimes, very rarely. About once every 2 months as a social thing. I brush my teeth everyday, including the gum line and tongue. Sometimes I rinse with listerine, as well. I haven't gotten this bump since
Thanks for the detailed information. It appears that you make an attempt to keep your mouth healthy. There are several things that can cause a recurrent swelling but in this case the most likely reason is that the nerve in the tooth associated with the swelling has died and you are experiencing recurring infections. Once the swelling gets large enough it may open up discharging the abscess allowing it to deflate and the gum tissue to appear to heal. To resolve this problem see your dentist as soon as possible so that he can confirm this with an exam and xrays. The treatment for this problem is a root canal.
I doubt that this is an std or a cancer as you seem to be concerned about, but without an exam it is impossible to rule out these possibilities. ...Read more

What causes wounds on the gums which are like blood stripes and painless small bumps filled with fluids on the inside cheeks?
Repeated bitting can cause the strips on the cheeks. If it around the gums near the teeth = most likely gingivitis. Small painless fluid filled bumps in cheeks = most likely fluid filled salivary glands just underneath the tissue. For gums just work on brushing techniques and the bumps = no worries and normal.
