Does having a small uterus affect fertility?

Does having a small uterus affect fertility?

Generally not: As long as your uterus is otherwise normal, being small should not affect fertility.

What can cause a small uterus and non-visualised ovaries?

What can cause a small uterus and non-visualised ovaries?

Normal findings...: If you've never been pregnant or its been awhile since you were, your uterus can be quite small. Ovaries are sometimes just hard to find. They are small and not in a fixed location so they hide behind bowel gas, stool, or other structures in the pelvis. Small ovaries are hardly ever diseased. Its the enlarged ovaries we tend to worry about and they are easier to see. Best wished!

Its 8th day of IUI but no positive symptoms. Is it fails???? I have a small uterus..

Its 8th day of IUI but no positive symptoms. Is it fails???? I have a small uterus..

Patience too early: Important to recognize that your uterus may be small just because you have not been pregnant. Also a positive test or symptoms may not occur for at lease 14 days and sometimes if Iui is miss timed layer. Be positive and patient! Good luck!

Pplease tell me the symtoms of blocked uterus..... I have small uterus and ovaries too?

Not sure: I am not sure what you are asking; but if uterus is " blocked" you would not have menstrual flow and probable abdominal pain.

I have no periods. & a small uterus 3.5 c.M. Can I get pregnanrt?

I have no periods. & a small uterus 3.5 c.M. Can I get pregnanrt?

Probabaly: You need to see your doctor to find out why you do not have periods. You may require some assistance medically or surgically depending on what is interfering with your cycles, but most women with ovaries and a uterus will be able to conceive.

If I cant have my period because I have small uterus how can I have babies but I do have ovaries?

Uterine malformation: When you say "small uterus" does this mean you were evaluated and told there was a problem with how your uterus was formed? Do you only have one horn or is the uterus absent? If your ovaries are functioning you are able to harvest eggs and have a biological child with a surrogate. Exploration and answers best received from a reproductive endocrinologist.

I have been diagnosed with streak ovaries and small uterus. Can you guide me, how can I get pregnant. In my reports I'm xy female?

I have been diagnosed with streak ovaries and small uterus. Can you guide me, how can I get pregnant. In my reports I'm xy female?

Not in your future: Someone with streak ovaries does not make eggs, and if your genetic profile shows you to be xy, you have a condition that is incompatible with you getting pregnant. You can look into adoption or other methods of having kids, but there is no treatments that can change what you were born with. Sorry to have to give you such news.

Can a xy female with small uterus and no ovaries get pregnant by donated egg through ivf. What's the procedure? Please help

Can a xy female with small uterus and no ovaries get pregnant by donated egg through ivf. What's the procedure? Please help

Maybe: The likelihood is probalby small, but depends on the cause of the dsd (disorder of sex development). T-fem usually doesn't have a functional uterus. If it is xy gonadal dysgenesis, maybe. You need an evaluation of the inside of the uterus (if there is a vagina and cervix to get there). If the uterine cavity is normal, substantial hormone treatment may allow ivf to work. Good luck.

I have no periods because of small uterus size. It is only 3.5 c.M. Can I get pregnant after marriage. Preiods come with tablet femilon?

Testing: Your uterus isn't what controls your menstrual cycles. Your brain and ovarian function are what control how your menstrual cycles are regulated. A "small uterus" may be a result of low Estradiol levels. I would recommend you have testing done for both pituitary and ovarian function to help you assess future fertility.

Probably: A small uterus does many one can not get pregnant and your cycles have a normal pattern. Based on that information alone there is no reason to suspect a fertility issue.

Age: The size of the uterus changes with age and even thru the different stages of the menstrual cycle. Since you don't give your age, it is hard to say whether this is normal or not. The Depo may also have contributed to this. Most pathologic changes make the uterus larger rather than smaller. Discuss this with the person who ordered the ultrasound to know for sure whether this is a problem or not.

Second opinions: If you are uncomfortable or questioning the advice or recommendations from a physician, you are well within your right to seek a second opinion from a qualified physician who specializes in the field of your condition. In your case, an obstetrician who has expertise in infertility would be ideal. Best wishes.

PCOS: You should be evaluated for polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Women with PCOS can have significant and very serious health problems, including not being able to conceive, as well as very significant increased risk of developing diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, depression and endometrial cancer.

NOt. ...: Femilon is a oral contraceptive, during the use you will not get pregnant (contraceptives has 1% failure rate per year), an other issue your 'small uterus ', need more info, is it developmental anomaly, like infantile type of uterus then another problem to get pregnant, or just vague term just little small uterus?

Primary amenorrhea small uterus 4.6×2.6 CM tanner 3 breast period only after taking conjugate 1.5 mg twice a day. What is this defect? Want to conceiv

Very complicated: It sounds like you have hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism which has lead to primary amenorrhea. Fertility issues surrounding this are way beyond the scope of a 400 character answer. Please schedule a visit and discuss your rare situation with a reproductive endocrinologist. Breast and pubic development must occur first - slowly and carefully before dealing with fertility.
