GERD TREATMENT: GERD SX can be vague NAUEA/BLOATING /HEART BURN. Or Severe PAIN//REFLUX/LARYNGITS/COUGH You need a history and physical. Labs including Hpylori Ab Ig G and M. Stool for hpylori x 3. I usually start with Zantac (ranitidine) 300mg/PROTONIX 40mg. Probably reflux: Sounds like gerd (gastroesophageal reflux disease) may be an issue, or at least part of it. Burning, pain, and belching/gas are frequent symptoms of gallbladder disease, but the food coming up sounds reflux--which can be caused by a hiatal hernia. Aphthous ulcer: Its not uncommon for the stress of an oral infection to trigger aphthous ulcers. However, given you also have a potential adjacent apical root infection, it may be due to an underlying abscess and require urgent dental evaluation.
